Our guide takes you through Gamla Filmstaden in Råsunda, the place where Victor Sjöström and Mauritz Stiller made their iconic films during the heyday of Swedish Cinema in the 1920s, where directors like Ingmar Bergman and Hasse Ekman flourished in the 1940s, 50s and 60s and where stars like Greta Garbo, Ingrid Bergman, Max von Sydow and Harriet Andersson started their careers.

The tour starts outside the Gatekeeper’s lodge. This particular tour is part of Filmstadens Dag and the admission is free although ticket is needed. Tickets can be found at the entry. First come.
